Dr. Toporowski is a licensed psychologist, completing her doctoral degree in clinical psychology at Argosy University, Orange County. She earned a master’s degree in clinical psychology from Antioch University, Santa Barbara, as well as an undergraduate degree in psychology from University of California, Riverside. Dr. Toporowski completed her predoctoral internship at University of California, Davis Medical Center’s Academic and Staff Assistance Program. She completed her postdoctoral training at University of California, San Diego’s Faculty and Staff Assistance Program. In addition to her experience gained at university and hospital settings, she has provided therapy at an alcohol rehabilitation program, community mental health setting, and outpatient counseling center. Trained as a generalist psychologist, she integrates cognitive-behavioral (CBT) and humanistic approaches with mindfulness-based and evidence-based practices. Dr. Toporowski enjoys working with adults and couples facing a variety of challenges, including depression, anxiety, relational issues, family issues, trauma, PTSD, anger management, grief, adjustment issues, life transitions, stress management, and self-esteem problems.
